SysTools Mac Thunderbird Import Wizard

Know How it Works- Step By Step Guide

STEP 1

Launch the “SysTools Mac Thunderbird Import Wizard” software. The user interface of the software is as follows:

Once the tools open you will get two options to Browse the files. In first you can add the MBOX / MBX / MBS files.

In the second option you can Browse EML/EMLX files.

Now, whatever you select like MBOX files or EML file, the tool gives you an two options your add files Add Files or Add Folder. So lets see the first option, Click on the “Add File(s)” button to import a single MBOX/MBX/MBS/EML/EMLX file into the software.

Now, browse and select the specific files that is to be added to the software and click on the “Choose” button.

Once a file has been added, you can able to see all the added files on the left side of the software window.

Select "Add Folder" to import multiple MBOX/MBX/MBS/EML/EMLX/files stored within a folder into the application

Select the Specific folder that is to be added and contains all the MBOX/MBX/MBS/EML/EMLX/ files. Click on the “OK” button.

Once a folder has been added, the software will show all the added files in the folder, Click on “Next” button.

Note: The Remove button can be used to remove the added files one at a time.

The software will automatically show all the id's that are configured on the Thunderbird application in the identities dropdown list as well as one can save the files to the Local Folders.

Choose POP configured account if you want to import MBOX/MBX/MBS/EML/EMLX files to Thunderbird.

Now, you can choose the Optional Filters option to import data from the added files.

Select the Date Filter option to import data according to the data as per your choice.

Note: The date filter is applied according to the received date of emails.

After this to maintain the folder hierachy you can choose the Maintain Folder Hierarchy option.

Now, choose Destination Location to save the export report of the imported MBOX/MBX/MBS/EML/EMLX.

Click on “Import” to start the import process.

The Import process will be completed successfully with a success message, Click on “OK” as shown below:

Once the import process is complete then you can very easily Save the Report containing all the information regarding the import process.

You can view the Report of the import process with details: File Path, Number of Mails imported, Size of the File , Duration & Status of Report.

If you have selected the pop to save the files, then go the Thunderbird to see your all data.
